I have lots of fun in gymnastics and have learnt lots of new things.
I can shuffle along the high beam and I can swing my legs on the bar, my favourite bit is BOUNCING on the trampoline.

My talking is getting a lot better and clearer, although I would still rather use sign or sound effects than the actual word.

update

I have been trying really hard to say new words since Riley has started school, I say 'dada ark' for daddy shark. I say 'who dar' for whos there on the phone.
I have been gymnastics and singing with sophie the last few weeks and i have been joining in with the dancing and actions at singing.

My 2nd birthday

I woke up shouting 'mama, dada'. Mummy came in and took me to her bed while we waited for Riley to wake up. once every1 was ready we went down stairs and there were some presents for me. I enjoyed opening them with Rileys help.

 After opening my presents I played with me new toys, my peppa pig vehicles, peppa pig tea set and my new scooter.

Then we had breakfast and plyed some more...then I went for a long nap ready for my party.
When Daddy woke me up he drove me to the party and I was the last one to get there because of my long nap. all my friends were there, Darcey, Sophie, and Oscar. and their big brothers and sisters were ther too as they are Rileys friends ...Eden and mckenzie, Billie, Samuel. Also all of my family were there too...nannies and grandads and uncles. (Auntie lucy was working).

There was a bouncy castle, ride on cars and lots of yummy party food that mummy made.
Everyone sang happy birthday and brought me a present...I opened 1 of the presents as soon as possible from Eden it was a cuddley dog and I carried it around for the rest of the party.
The party was fun (although there were a few accidents and nose bleeds from children jumping into each other).
 Thankyou to everyone who came to my party.
After the party Nanny and Grandad and Uncle Lee and Uncle Jason came back to our house for tea, they gave me some presents too, a barking, jumping puppy, a doll, a pram (that i push my doggies around in) and some happyland things.

I was very tired that night and went straight to sleep at bed time.

 

 

 

update from summer 2012

just me

Im almost 2 years old already.

I still dont like to say much although Im loud when I want to be.

We have had a busy few

weeks, in the summer holidays we went to lots of nice places, woodlands, the aquarium and pennywell farm.

On the 7th september Mummy and Daddy got married...although I had a nice day with all my family playing and running in the massive hotel garden, I wasnt sure what to think about it all...why was everyone wearing smart clothes? and why was mummy wearing that dress?. it was all a bit much for me!

Now Ru-ru has started school, I spend lots of time with Mummy. We still go to 'singing with steve' but we also got to gymnastics toddler group. 
On Monday mornings I go to little nursery, I usually cry when I first go in but once I see Jess (my key worker) she cuddles me and once Mummy has left I play with the toys and read books.

The last few weeks I have learnt to say 're' for red. I can ask 'where ru-ru ( riley)' and 'what dat'. Im trying really hard with my talking.

I love to watch peppa pig ALL THE TIME, if im not watching it on television I get Daddies Ipad and turn it on and find my peppa pig games, and if not I use mummy or daddys phones to play games. I can work it all on my own.

update 21 months

Its been a while since the last post.
I only say a few words but im very clever at getting people to understand me and do what I want them to do.
I can say 'mama, dada, nana, car, ball, blue, peppa, ba(for bath), more and steve (singing teacher)' and Riley has taught me a word that makes him laugh histerically so it must be a good word to say 'poo poo'.

I started 'little nursery' this week where mummy left me and I stayed and played with the other children. I settled in well and only asked for mama a few times.

On wednesdays Mummy and Me go to 'singing with steve' I love singing all the songs and listen carefully so I can tell mummy to sing later at home. my favourite song is 'the hedgehog song' i know all the signs and actions to all the songs.

In May just after Rileys birthday we went to butlins for a week...it was great fun. we slept there and each day we did something different. we went swimming most days and I loved that too (except the waves). while we were there we visited an animal park where we could hold the animals I was a bit small but Riley held a snake. We visited another park on the way home called a dinosaur park...that was really fun but I was unsure of the dinosaurs and hid behind mummy.

 I loved the food at butlins...especially the custard and pudding! 'MORE, MORE'.

We have also visited woodlands, river dart and the aquarium.

I had my 1st hair cut a few weeks ago...I was very brave (more scared really) but i sat still and the nice lady cut all my curls off.
I love to watch peppa pig on the television and before I could say 'peppa' If I wanted to watch it I would just point to the tv and snort like a pig. :-)

LEGOLAND

We went to legoland!
Early one morning Mummy and Daddy woke me and Riley up (5:30am) and put us in the car in our jammies and we went on a little holiday TO LEGOLAND.

We went on rides and played all day...it was great! then we went to our hotel...the LEGOLAND hotel. it was amazing! me and riley loved the pirate room with the bunk bed and lego to play with.
the next day we went back into the park for a few hours before going back home.
we had the best time! and cant wait to go again.
