Last day of little nursery!

Today was my last day at little nursery, from January I will be starting 'big nursery'. I have been going to 'ready for nursery sessions' and have met some children that will start big nursery with me. I have met my teacher Miss Gilbard, she was also Rileys nursery teacher. I loved visiting big nursery and didnt want to leave, I was allowed to make my own snack and pour my own milk, on the day i visited I made myself 3 bowls of cereal and 2 cups of milk. snack time is my favourite. I also liked to play outside on the bikes and in the pirate ship. It is also my last day at toddlers tomorrow (pats group) I will miss this group the most, but luckily pat runs lunch club when i go to big nursery.

Once I was 3 years old I was able to start 'big boy' gymnastics, Mummy has to wait outside and I go and do exercise with my friends, Darcey goes there too. Last week I recieved my 1st badge, everyone came to watch my gymnastics including Mummy, Daddy, Nanny and Grandad. . WELL DONE ROWAN!!!

Chessington!

Just after my birthday we went to Chessington for a little holiday. We had an amazing time, I went on a bubble ride and was very brave and went on some fast rides too. my favourite ride was a nice 'slow' boat ride. :-) We had a lovely african themed hotel room. we also seen madagasca live. As you can see from the pictures it was a very tiring weekend.

update!!! 3RD Birthday

We havent been able to update for a while as our laptop was being repaired. September 2013 It was my birthday, I was 3. I woke up and had some birthday presents....my favourite was a walking spotty gog (dog), and bubble puppie. nanny and grandad (new car) came to see me before my party.

In the afternoon I got ready for my pirate party.

Lots of my friends came to my party including 'my mate EO' (Leo). I had a lovely time after the party my nanny and grandad came out with Uncle Jason and Auntie Lucy. and Nanny and Grandpa came out too.

no more dummies

Last week Mummy said the dummy fairies for coming to take my dummies and give them to all the babies in the world.
I was all prepared when mummy said 'today is the day the fairies are coming' I put all my dummies in a carrier bag and put them outside.

I went in the bath and came down stairs, mummy said 'rowan go and see if the fairies have been' I looked out the door but the bag was still there...I said 'no not yet'. but mummy said 'look in the bag' and there were no dummies in there instead there were some cute dog toys for me.
I was very pleased with my doggies.

That night I went to bed and didn't once ask for a 'ha' (dummy). I got out of bed a few times, 'mummy I feel sick, then mummy I feel sad, then mummy I cant find my doggies' but eventually I fell asleep.
its been a week now and I still get out of bed a few times before falling asleep but I'm doing really well and I'm now a big boy.

update

I wear pants all the time in the day now, and pull ups at night (although im dry at night, sometimes I dribble a bit).
Mummy and Daddy bought me a present, Daddy took me into town so I could choose a present..I chose a ball and some more soft toys. (my favourite things).

We went on holiday in June to Perran sands in Perranporth. I was very excited and when we got there we looked at our caravan and the site it was great fun with lots to do and we were right next to the sand dunes.

On the Saturday Daddy got bit by a snake and we had to call an ambulance to take him to hospital, we then waited for daddy to get better and we picked him up from hospital.

Apart from that we went in the parks on the beach and swimming in the pool we also went to a fun park in Newquay and spent the day at Crealy. It was a fun weekend we were all sad to leave.

I say lots and lots now and I am starting to recognise my numbers. :-)

POTTY TIME

Today while we were at Nanny and Grandads house, Mummy asked me if I wanted to use the potty at Nannies house. I said yes because the potty looked different to the 1 at 'mama house'.
I held my wee wee in for a long time and played with Ruh Ruh...Mummy kept asking me if I needed a wee wee and showed me the potty.
I sat on it a few times while I watched peppa pig...but nothing came out.
I kept my wee wee in for over 1 hour.
Then I went to the potty and quickly sat down...but still nothing came out. (mummy knew i felt something coming)
then I did it again..went to the potty and sat down.....I DID A WEE ON THE POTTY!!!
Mummy did a little scream and said YAY!!! every1 came in and sang a song 'a pee pee on the potty' then I went upstairs with mummy and tipped my wee down the toilet and pulled the flush.
then  i had a sweetie for being so clever.
I carried on doing wee wee on the potty all afternoon without being asked.

Then I went home in the car with a nappy on but as soon as I got home Mummy took my nappy off, it was dry and I went on the potty and did another wee.

WELL DONE ROWAN!!!

SUNSHINE, AND RILEYS BIRTHDAY

This weekend it was Ruh, Ruhs Birthday. I said happy birthday to him.
We gave him some presents. Mummy and Daddy also gave me a bag with new books and some chocolate in.
Riley let me open 1 present...YAY!
Everyone came to our house on Rileys birthday.
I was very excited for Rileys party...'Go ruh-ruh party mow?' (mow = now)

We went to woodland on the bank holiday weekend...YAY!
I was also tall enough to go on the water slides, I qued up with Mummy, Daddy and Riley for the orange slide.
Daddy and Riley went down 1st, I waved and said 'bye ruh ruh and dada'
then Mummy went to me in a boat...I said 'NO MAMA' and even though Mummy said it was a nice slide I wouldnt go on because i didnt want to get wet. Mummy said ok Row you dont have to on the slide. so we walked back down the hill and I told Mummy why I didnt want to go on the slide 'wah-hu bad, all on muu buu-wee and ed' which translates to water slides are bad because i will get water all over my belly and head. lol.
I was quite happy to go on any dry slides though...

31 months and talking lots...yay!

I have decided I will show everyone how clever I am and say all the words I have been storing in my head.
I can count to 5 (sometimes higher) I can read books with mummy and say some word in the book, my favourite books are 'class two at the zoo', 'dinosaur dig, 'big red bath' and 'owl babies'.
I like to talk to Riley when we play together, he understands what I say now. Its so much easier for everyone now I can ask for things and tell people things. :-)

I have just had chicken pox, I felt very itchy. they are almost gone now. I call them 'bickin box'.

This week I have been on a bus with Mummy...it was great fun. We went on a double decker and I sat at the top right at the front.

I am being a cheeky monkey at the moment, I laugh lots and like to smack people on the bum and laugh.

I dont sleep very well at the moment (maybe beacuse im itchy from chicken pox or my excema).

29 months

I have started saying lots of words, instead of 'hu hu' i say 'gog' (for dog). Im not so shy about saying words anymore.
We have been busy as usual, going to the duck pond, park and my usual activities of nursery, singing with steve and gymnastics. busy busy busy!!

update

This month I have been saying new words, (well attempting to). while we were at the zoo I said 'Riley' and 'daddy'. I can say 'giraffe' and 'rhino'. and other words too.
I loved going to the zoo and my favourite bit was going on the train.

It snowed last week and it was the 1st time I had seen snow, We got dressed up warm and Mummy, Daddy and me walked Riley to school. It was fun to jump in the snow and kick the snow, but i got very cold and wet and when we got home I had to get changed. We didnt make a snowman because Mummy and Daddy went to work and I went to nannys and she didnt have any snow at her house.
