getting ready for christmas

Last week Mummy & Daddy put a large tree in the front room and with Rileys help they covered it with decorations and lights...it looks very nice! I like to remove the decorations so mummy can re-decorate it each day. When we got the decorations out I found a red nose to try on....

I have stopped trying to say words because its much easier to just say 'eehh' or to winge when I want something and someone usually does it.
Im very good at bed time and usually go to bed about 7.30pm after my bottle. I still like to drink my morning and evening milk from a bottle. Mummy & Daddy have tried a few times to give me milk in a different cup but I just throw it on the floor or push it away.

It is almost christmas Im not sure what happens at christmas time but it sounds exciting!

14 months and 1st proper word

Im 14 months old now and I said CAR today while pointing to toy cars on the shelf in tescos...Mummy and Daddy were very excited.

me as a vampire at halloween

 In the last few weeks it has been Halloween and Mummy dressed me as a vampire I went to a little party, and on Halloween night Mummy and Daddy took us to Georges house and we went 'trick or treating' I had a lot of chocolate but I had the most fun just running around.

The week after we dressed up nice and warm and went onto The Hoe to watch the fireworks...it was very good and I pointed to the pretyy lights in the sky...it was quite loud but I still enjoyed it.

Last week I had my 1 year review, they said I was tall for my age and very sturdy on my feet.
We also went to visit santa at endsleigh garden centre..he arrived with real reindeer it was great, Santa gave me and Riley some toy dinosaurs...so now I have my own dinosaurs like Riley. I carry them around and say RRRRRAAAARRRRR!

I have learnt to touch my head and find my belly and I can find my willy when im in the bath.
Today I said a sound that sounded like ccrrrr...for car and shhhhh ....for shoes.

13 months old

Im 13 months old in a few days and last week I got weighed and was 24lb 14oz.

I walk around everywhere now and I shout a lot, I like music and reading books. I like to chase our kitten Hugo around the house.
I can clap my hands, point to my head and toes. I can go and get my shoes when Mummy/Daddy ask. I understand lots of things.
I like to play outside and sometimes if im not allowed out...I cry and stamp my feet!

my birthday ...part 2

The day after my birthday...we had another day of celebrating my birthday. A friends party...lots of my friends came, Ruby and her big brother Jayden, Darcey and her big sister Billie, Samuel and Sophie and Oscar.
We ate party food, I tried pizza. I also ate some crisps, saugages and cake. After that we played out in the garden on the trampoline, on the digger, in the playhouse and on the slide.

I had fun and it tired me out, after everyone left I opened presents from my friends and the I went to bed and slept lots.

 The day after my party Mummy, Daddy Riley and me went to Wembury beach. We had great fun playing in the sand and in the sea.

IM 1 YEAR OLD

On Friday morning I woke up and Mummy, Daddy and Riley sang 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME'. I dont quite know why but I do know that it was a special day all about me, because all the nanny and grandads came to visit me and gave me presents and sang happy birthday and we had a birthday tea.

Mummy and Daddy gave me some presents in the morning...a scuttlebug, a music play centre, and a helicopter just like Riley's so I dont have to keep pinching his.

Riley gave me a present too it was some toy squeeky eggs that fit into a egg box.

After mine and Rileys afternoon nap we put some smart party clothes on ready for everyone to arrive.

Then when everyone was at our house I had some more presents to open, I had a toy london bus from Uncle Lee, an aeroplane from Auntie Lucy and a car transporter from Uncle Jason.

This is me opening presents from Nanny and Grandad (with a garage) I had a pirate ship, a fire engine and a crocodile xylophone and a musical trumpet.

This is my taxi car from Nanny and Grandad....I LOVE IT!!! In fact I love all my toys. (so does Riley)

After our party tea Mummy lit some candles on a cake and everyone sang happy birthday again.

After a great but busy, tiring day I had a nice bath and said bye to everyone then I went to bed. thankyou everyone for a lovely birthday and thankyou for my presents.



My new skills

Kitten

Today we have a strange animal in our house....im trying really hard to catch it but Mummy and Daddy keep stopping me.

They all call him Hugo and say he's a kitten. I would love to get my hands on him.

11 MONTHS OLD!

I am now 11 months old, I have 7 teeth, I walk all the time, I can shout, I can wave, I can clap and I can give kisses when someone asks me...and for special people sometimes I will just kiss them for no reason.
I like to play with Riley, when im looking for him, I stand at the bottom of the stairs...SHOUTING! 'BAA, BAA' this is how I call Riley.
I like splashing in the bath by kicking my feet, I usually share the bath with Riley but sometimes its nice to have a quiet-ish, bath on my own.

This is me on the train at Paignton zoo...I loved looking at the animals and the train ride.

This is me playing at woodlands...it was a brilliant day, we played in parks and I went in ball pools, on slides and looked at animals.

I am a Daddy's boy, I cry if he leaves the room and dont like it when he goes to work.

When Daddy is home I follow him around everywhere.

I like to do 'BIG BOY' things the same as Riley. We wrestle in the front room a lot...Mummy tells us to be gentle but we just laugh and carry on.
I have medicine for my ear infection and Im better now.
I like to eat blueberries and grapes. My favourite meal is still mash potato with mixed veg and gravy. At the moment I like to squish and squash my food in my hands and throw it on the floor.
Im almost a year old...im not sure what that means but im sure it will be fun!

whats new!!!

I am walking lots now, I am learning tantrums, when mummy let Riley outside but not me I screamed and stamped my feet.
I got weighed last Thursday 4th August and I was 22lb. I have been poorly with a cough and a sore throat. I also had teeth coming through so I was feeling really sorry for myself and couldnt sleep. Im almost totally better now just a bit of snot left.
Iy was Mummys birthday this week we woke her up and gave her presents in bed and kisses and cuddles. Then Nanny & Grandad and Nanny & grandpa came out for birthday tea.
We have been to the water park at central park...I loved it!! I just sat in the water and got saoked.

my 1st shoes

Today Mummy & Daddy took me to get my feet measured and to get some BIG BOY shoes.
The lady put me feet into the measuring gauge and I was between a 4 and a 41/2 G. I tried on a 4 but they were a bit tight so we got the next size up a 4 1/2 G.
I have been trying to walk around with them, I cant do as many steps with them on because I am still getting used to them.
We also went to the barbican for some chippies and an ice cream then we went to west hoe park.
A great afternoon.

10 months old

Today I am 10 months old and I am walking short distances on my own as much as I can now. I get very excited when im walking.
I still crawl sometimes and I can speed crawl especially when I see food.
I have 6 teeth so far, and my favourite thing to do is eat, walk and shout!
I shout for Riley when mummy says 'where's Riley gone?' I shout 'ahhh, ahhh' while pointing.

My 1st Holiday...Bideford Bay!

Last weekend we went for away for a long weekend at Bideford Bay, Mummy, Daddy, Riley and Me stayed in a chalet and Nanny & Grandad (at the broadway) stayed in a caravan on the otherside of the park.
I was very excited to be in a new place, I slept in a different cot and investigated all the rooms. I went swimming for the 1st time, I enjoyed it but was quite unsure at the same time, I wanted to hold on tight to Mummy or Daddy. (No pics sorry). I played in the park at our caravan site...

Me and Riley had lots of fun playing in the travel cot making funny faces through the net.

We went to the milky way adventure park and there I played in the sand and went in the ball pool (which I wasnt too keen on).
We had a great time even though the weather was not very nice and we were sad to leave.
When we got home I was very excited to see all my toys in the toy box and started laughing! :-)

41 weeks old

Last week I got weighed at clinic and was 21lb 14oz, and on Sunday 2nd July I did my 1st few steps. I walked from Mummy to Daddy and since then I have done it lots, from the sofa to anyone that is gonna catch me.

TEETH

I now have 2 more teeth which have just broken through so I have 5 altogether. I got weighed on wednesday and I was 21lb 8oz.
I am climbing up and grabbing EVERYTHING! mummy says im a little monkey.
I eat a lot of food, I like bananas and yoghurts the best.
I have started to sleep better at night time.
Last week me and Riley slept at Nanny & Grandad (with a garage) while mummy and daddy went out for a meal and then Mummy went away with some friends for a night..(thorpe park). We love sleeping at Nanny and Grandads because we get spiolt. I missed Mummy lots and lots, and cuddled her lots when she got back.
I have been to pennywell farm with Mummy, Nanny and Riley, this is me with a rat, and me on the train with Mummy and Riley.

update!

I have started doing 'proper' crawling now, on my hands and knees. I only use my army crawl if I need to get somewhere fast. I like to climb up on everything and I pull things over, Daddy has had to put a gate on the stairs and at the kitchen door to stop me getting there. I like to climb up stairs and I like to pull bits off the bin bags and eat it, in fact I like to put anything in my mouth that im not surposed to.

I have been poorly for about a week while my top tooth is coming through, but its here now so im feeling a lot better. I now have 3 teeth.
My favourite food is mash with any vegetables and gravy, I also LOVE yogurts and bananas. I get grumpy if I want food and cant have it or if it runs out..like when my yogurt is finished and Mummy says 'all gone' I grunt and start to cry...usually I get another one.

Im 8 months old now and a few weeks ago I started to pull myself up on things like the sofa and stairs, now I stand up and then try and walk...but im much too little and I fall over.
When I fall over it hurts a lot and I cry (a lot), but I dont learn because I still keep doing it.
I like to walk around holding on to peoples hands.
I like to say da da da da da...over and over again! and I laugh at Riley a lot.
I have 2 bottom teeth and my top teeth will be here soon because mummy can see them in my gums and they hurt a lot. :-(
On saturday we all dressed up smart and went to Freyah & Richards wedding it was very good and I was ver good. Here is a picture of me with Nanny at the wedding reception on the dance floor.

weigh-in

Last week at weigh-in I was 20lb 12oz.
